Solved No previews available anymore (pictures, contents of folders etc.)

Hi everyone,

Was hoping that someone could perhaps help me with an annoying litle problem that has happened pretty recently and as far as I know it happened without me doing anything...

For some reason Vista now does not show any previews of pictures; pictures saved on my desktop are now only shown as icons and not the picture, same goes for every folder in the computer and for video files as well.

If anyone has any idea on what the problem is and how to solve it it would be great!

Hey there Shawn,

What do you know, this worked wonders!
The problem was with the thumbnails disabled in explorer for some reason so I followed the link you gave and did the easiest way and downloaded and implemented the .reg file and everything got back to normal.

I did try some of the other suggested routes which didn't work, but that might have been due to my incompetence...

Appreciate the fast help, thank you very much!
