document ans stuff is missing

well i was on msn and facebook and listening to music then blue screen popped up and my laptop didnt shut off so i shut it off by holding down power button i turned it back on wouldnt load login screen so i power off and launched start up repair i let that do its job i walked away for 10-15 mins come back its at login screen i log in say error tempory profile loaded and all my stuff is gone ie all my music favorites everything and i dont kno how to fix it can someone help me

Your computer is loading temporary profile.. you have a corrupted profile.. create a new profile with administrative right.. then from the temporary profile go on to
My computer c/user find your username there and find the files .. you might need to change the settings of folder to view hidden files.. then copy over all the music and pictures to the new profile you created or to another location then load in as the new user and copy back all the documents and music to the right location and delete the corupted profile..

FYI
If you have password protection on your previous profile, you will only be able to access the files if you are loaded on the temporary profile not the new one although you have set it up with administrative rights..

the path of file will be c/documents and settings/
either under all user or you will see your previous username there.. all the files will definitely be there

well i got in theres 4 ones john which was the one i was on when this happend then theres john.john the temporay one then there mcx1 then public which one do i delete

do not delete any of them.. find your missing files first.. what profile name where you using.. click on that folder and see if your documents and music etc are there

ok i made a new account with adminstrator rights im useing that one so i went in to the folder john and i draged all ym stuff in to johnny and now its finished now wat do i do

I'm off in 5 minuits.. do not delete any folder at this stage.. you need to first find the files on the folder.. copy them all.. as you won't be able to access them from the new profile.. then when you have created the new profile transfer those files back like doing a backup and restore.. ok cheers..

yes i am but i dragged them all in to my johnny folder so there not int he john folder anymore now what do i do

now log on as johny.. and u will see all your folders and document there.. had you created a new profile?
