Windows Vista 32 bit, test mode

Hello, i recently updated my vista software to sp2 and now i have " Microsoft (R) Windows (R) (build 6002: service pack 2) at the top middle of my screen and test mode in all four corners of my screen. How do i get rid of this?

Also i can't delete folders that are unused on my desktop i delete them but they just re-appear again a few moment later?

HELPPP!!!!!

Now to keep the deleted folders gone? why when i delete they just re-appear again? (this is on my desktop btw)

can you right click them and choose properties, whats the location ? can you delete them from there?

i havent tried deleting them from the location, i click properties and in read only there is an hilight blue square but not a tick so i click till its blank and then click ok and then delete folder but still comes back. Yes i created them to transfer fotos from a usb.
