All,
I have a desktop PC with Vista 32bit installed
Apparently it did works w/o any issue till now
Issue : Dlink wireless key USB DWA140 software driver installation fail becuase an issue with CRC concerning .cab file or setup.exe

action performed till now :
- downloaded latest driver from Dlink web , but same issue
- Contacted Dlink Support , they sent me FTP link to download very latest driver , same issue
- unzip and copied all the file in a folder in C drive and ran installation , same issue
- Since I think might be a regestry issue , I tried to download and install a regestry cleaner. same issue , with same error
Apparently any kind of installation is failing with same CRC issue concerning .cab or setup.exe

additional information :
apparentelly or it is just a coincidence , this start to happen after the Antivirus expiration date ( Dec 31st 2009 )
Antivirus is Norton 2009
Unfortunatelly since, I ' m not able to connect the desktop to the network due to router in different room and USB wireless key installation failure , I'm not able to renew the antivirus or install a new one
I don't know if this might be correlated to the Antivirus , however I left it as comment.

I tried to install same software driver in another PC with XP and it works succesfully and on another Vista's PC succesfully as well
So, looks like the issue is the desktop but I still walking in the dark

Thanks in advance for your tips
Ciao
