Omnia won't sync to Windows mobile?

I got a new phone not too long ago (couple months at most) and it was working fine and everything, but just recently I was unable to sync the device to my computer via USB 2.0. I'm not sure what's wrong here, it just happened suddenly. I read that people were having troubles with Win 7 but I'm not sure if that applies to me, as I'm using Win Vista Home Premium x64.

I'm kinda stuck here and have no idea what to do. Any and all help appreciated.

*Update: Searched in the device manager and found the device under portable devices. It seems to have an error or it's registry keys corrupt:

"Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)"

Hello Madandfrustrate,
Go to Device Manager, un-install the device, reboot and try.

An sfc /scannow may tidy things up a bit.

Give CCleaner a go too, it will tidy up the registry.

CCleaner - Download Backup Registry When Prompted.

Hope some of this helps, good luck and post your results.

Did that last night, a little after I posted this thread. I just had to uninstall the device and bingo! Fixed. So thanks anyways for your help.
