Hello everybody, I have a problem I cannot solve yet. :( Windows freesezs when accessing a certain directories on my HardDrive. The mouse is still moving, but I can't click anything and the taskmanager won't appear. After 30 sec. to 1,5 minute the system is running normal again.

I have checked the mem with memtest86+ and everything is ok.
I have reinstalled win vista ultimate x64.
I have checked all my drive for virusses and none were found.
I have checked all my 5 HD's with HDtune pro and all drives are ok.
I have installed all newest drivers for board, GPU and all new updates in windows.
I have changed all the sata connector cables and remove all the drives except the boot drive C:

My question is: anybody knows what this problem is caused by? And how to solve it? And maybe a utlity or software to check my processor and MB?

Thanx anyway!

My System:
proc: intel core i7 920 (now running at stock speed)
MB: Gigabyte EX58-UD5
drives: WD velocyraptor 150Gb, Samsung spinpoint F3 1TB x 2, Samsung HD 500 Gb, WD caviar black 640 Gb.
mem: 6 GB Corsair triple channel dominator 1600mhz.
GPU: geforce GTX-285
PSU: Coolermaster 850 W.

PS. the system is running fine untill I try to open some certain directories on the HD.
