Is there a way to install my HP1317 printer to my laptop which has Windows Vista? The cd to install the printer only works with Windows up to XP.

Sassofalco has given you good advice. When I downloaded my driver for an HP printer, I had to save to the desktop and install in compatability mode. You will get your printer to work. It will just take some patience.
