Solved My C:/ is out of space, while my Temporary internet folder is 13 GB!!!

Dear all,
please help me. I have Vista Business. Recently I found out that the space on my hard driver C: is reducing day by day. I check and found out that my temporary internet folder contains 13 GB of info!!!. I was not able to clean it!!! I tried to scan it for viruses - no effect. I tried DISC CLEAN - no effect. I try manual cleaning the files - no effect. I found out that there is a LOW folder in my TEMPORARY INTERNER FOLDER. This LOW folder is filled with files without extension. The name of this files is EIGHT DIGITS DESH EIGHT DIGITS. The names look like this: "00000012-00000000" without extension. The dates of this files are after each time I turned on my explorer. Please help me. Is this some kind of worm?! How to removed it. I am out of options.

You have Vista Business, that edition makes what is called shadow copies, these copies take a lot of space. Follow these instructions to clear them.

They do serve a purpose, they allow you to go back in time to restore files, etc as desired.

it frees about 4 GB on my C:, but I still have this problem with my Temporary internet files folder filled with 13 GB of files. I check again the LOW folder contains 4535 similar files with name consisted "8 digits desh 8 digits" with no extension. I want to delete those, but I am not sure what will happened. Please help me.

CCleaner - Download (Backup Your Registry When Prompted).

You can set the max shadow copy storage by using this command in an administrator command prompt(to get the prompt go to Start=>All Programs=>Accessories and click on Command Prompt)

vssadmin Resize ShadowStorage /For=C: /On=C: /Maxsize=24GB

Change the number in /Maxsize to the number of GB you want.

I have it in a .cmd file so that every time I turn Restore Points back on after a HD defrag I can reset the max.
