key board problem

i have a compaq cq60-417dx with vista home premium 32 bit O/P with a key board that makes double digits with the top and bottom row on the key board.[laptop].i replaced the key board but i still have the problem.maybe motherboard problem?thanks.

You have hit a function key f key, which makes part of the letter keyboard a numercial keyboard. Use your computer manual to find out which, or experiment or, I will try to help

i tried the test from hp,typing 'jump' but it didn't do ant thing.if you know something else i'll try it.thanks.

when i took it apart i found it had liquid spill on it and think that was the problem.thanks.
