Log on problem

Hi all,

I'm new here and I'm not a very experienced Vista user, but I have a weird problem: when starting my computer, everything looks normal until I get to the user start page. When I click on either user, however, it doesn't proceed to ask a password, but immediately appears to be logging in. Nothing happens, I get a black screen for like a nanosecond and then I get back to the user start page. I just can't log on to either user account, it doesn't even ask to enter a password. I have no idea what the problem could be, but like I said I'm really not an expert.

Any idea what the problem could be?

Log in using "safe mode" ( Press and hold the F8 key as your computer restarts. You need to press F8 before the Windows logo appears) then try restoring back your system (Press start button> in search box type "system restore").

Download free "malwarebytes" and update it then perform full scan.

Try: Log in using "safe mode with command prompt" type in search box CMD> right click "Run as administator"> type "sfc/scannow" then press enter.
