To whom it may concern,

I just opened a new email address a few minutes ago to replace 2 old ones that I didn't want anymore. I, therefore, started sending out emails to 10 people at a time (in th BC category, so no one sees other people's email addresses) so that I could tell everyone that this was my new email address. Unfortunately, by the time I was on the 3rd email, the account lock--saying that I wasn't able to send any emails out because they think I might be spaming. It said that if I think this was a mistake (which it is) to come to this forum and post so that a moderator could help me sort this out.

So... please help!

Thank you!

~Michelle~

I don't think there's much you can do about this, because most email clients are set up this way now, to help prevent spamming. Rather than sending only 10 at a time, next time try dividing your email list in half, send the first half and then send the second. If the service won't let you send that many at a time, you may just have to wait out the waiting period to send the next batch --- usually 24 hours. . .

PS, In regard to the email service saying you need a moderator's help. You didn't say what email service it is, but it's hard to believe they would tell you to go to Vista Forums for help. Are you sure they weren't referring to their own help/tech support, or whatever they offer? What exactly does the text say that tells you to get a moderator's help?
