A sfc should not be in start up
B to disable it type msconfig>startup tab>find sfc>uncheck

Don't think I've ever heard of SFC starting up everytime on it's own. 
Could you elaborate on what exactly is happening a little more? Some screenshots of what it says in the command prompt?...

Hello Sir, from what I understand, the SFC file checker boots when Vista boots, no notification, its in the background. Theres a way to disable that service from starting everytime Vista starts. From the prompt, it doesn't show the Switch for that, hence my ?

Umm, is that what someone told you?...or, are you just guessing that it runs in the background?
Far as I know, SFC doesn't run at all unless you enter it into the cmd prompt, or you purposely made a task in task scheduler for it to run at startup. It isn't a Service, therefore it won't be in Services to uncheck.

Hello,
SFC Scannow Microsoft DOS External command its not a service. So i don't believe there would be a way where you can disable it. Unless you want to delete them or rename from System32 SFC.exe which is not recommended
