Help - icon problems

i need help on my icon problems....... my folder icon is destroyed and turned into a generic one, when ever i make a new folder its still shows the generic icon.....all my other icons of other programs have been replaced to generic ones... plsss help...T.T

This may or may not be Virus related. In your post to don't say what led up to this. The easy solution would be to make sure your files are backed up then re-install Windows. How ever this will not be of any help if you have an infection. Here is a link where you can go for help to determine if it is Virus related Here.
