Hi all
not sure if this is in the right place but I have a Medion 8g usb stick that just stopped working the other day, I was working from it and it shut down and now my laptop wont recognise it at all, is there anything I can do or how can I get data from it?
Hope you can help

Do you have any other PC's you can access to test if it's the drive itself, and not the USB port?

If not, does the stick at least show up as a device in BIOS?

If it's not recognized, then the chances of recovering the data yourself are extremely slim.

Depending on the cause of the failure, or the importance of the files, your only options may be to send it to a data recovery company where they have the correct tools to access the data or revive the drive by some formatting / software tools (loosing your data anyway) or you may just have to bin it.
