Anyone knows how can i downgrade windows vista to xp??

I have a HP 530 laptop. I want to know, how can i downgrade from vista to xp? I love xp but accidentally my dad installed windows vista lol.

Nope it doesn't work. I get a bsod after setup inspected my computer wtf?? is my computer compatible with xp ?

First thing is to find ALL drivers for that model. Then you have to slipstream them on the installation disk or keep them ready on a USB stick. You have to go to the HP site or the component manufacturers sites. There is no guarantee that you find all the drivers - and without the drivers, no deal.
But after a bit of practice, you may be happy with Vista too. It is a great OS.

They've told you how to install XP but you'd be better off learning to use Vista, you will be surprised how much better it runs than XP and XP has a limited life span now. Have a look through the tutorials section here at Vista Forums, at the link below.

yeah, with a little tweaking vista can be good. but if your hardware is outdated you might want to move back to xp or even move ahead to windows 7.
