My PC has developed an annoying habit of changing the time to 11 hours ahead.

I change it back to correct time, try setting the internet update to on/off and still I cant stop this from happening.

running Vista Home Premium x64

HI and thanks for the reply

The CMOS time is always correct and the battery is OK.

This is what I have done

Boot into BIOS check time is correct, Boot OS time correct, wait till time changes, shut down boot to BIOS, time OK, boot OS and time still wrong

Britain has just changed the time by an hour on Sunday. Did you just have a time change (day light saving time in US)?

Hard to diagnose from a distance, but I wonder if there was a problem with the program; having a problem so close to the time change.

If it is not a program problem and not the battery, a simple system restore may do the trick. I would wait until Sunday, however.

Problem went away! I must admit I forgot about it but the only conclusion is that it was a screwy DST issue...
