I had to restore my system a while ago and a problem I solved in the past came up again.
I have had problems in past getting a batch file I made to run consistantly in the scheduler. It would run for a few days, then indicate that the user I had chosen (my user name and password) did not have the privileges to run the scheduled task. I would go into the scheduler and set it up again for the same user and password and it would work again for a few days. The batch file xcopies files from another computer over the network to my laptop.
I solved the problem about a year ago, but I forget how I solved it. I know I used a user other than my user name and password (I have administrative privileges, but apparently something disables it randomly).
I can go into the advanced part of the change user or group. There are a list of users such as my user name, system, local service, network service, etc. Any suggestions?
