    Help with burner pleeeaaaase

Hi, I am a professional carpenter. I also do all the mechanic on my veichules as well as major body fix.

I find ways to fix almost everything that I want to.

The only thing, There is an animosity between me and pc.

Despite my taste for challenge, I just can't take anymore bull**** from vista.

Everytime I download a software (as safe as nero for example), it's a guarantee
bug interfering with something else. Or else, it's a multitude of bugs and failures and it's handicaping my laptop.

Every new problem , I just find out that there is an ocean of millions of peoples super pissed at vista and it's mis-engineering.

I In the last couples of years I have notice most private entreprise switch to mac, because they were loosing money cause they're employees just spent to much time fixing vista f##ked ups, than doing their actual work.

Anyways, I just want to know if somebody knows Why my thoshiba satellite 32bit vista retarded, dosen't play dvds anymore or does not burn any music cd?

It's like, it burns the cd but it is not readable anywhere, even in the laptop itself!

And it just dosen't detect dvds anymore.....

Ok, I am not smart, but yes, There is a cd burner in there cause i used it before.

ya, ya, ya, I have the appropriate blank cd.

And please is there anyways for me to get win 7 or xp, or I just have to ditch my laptop and get a mac?

If that is the case, thank you very much pc, you only sold me a scrap machine
    for a 1000$.

It sounds like you may need to update your driver for your disc drive.

Try finding the driver in your Device Manager, right-click it and update.

    Hello Mike Tyson,
As Americano said, it may be a case of new drivers.
Before trying new drivers go to Device Manager, un-install your DVD/CD drive and reboot, this will re-install the drivers for your device.

Also, it may be worth checking the file system.
Open a command prompt as administrator and type in sfc/scannow press enter and let it scan.
If errors are found you will need to run it more than once until it comes up clean.

This free app will check the system for malware.

    Malwarebytes

This free app will get rid of all the junk files that accumulate over time.

CCleaner - Home (Backup Registry When Prompted).

I hope some of this will help, good luck and post your results.

You dont have to get a mac, upgrading to windows 7 will be cheaper. Reinstall your drivers, and make sure you have sp1, and/or 2, vista pre sp1 had lots of driver issues (not a misengineering as vista came out with new technlogies before computer drivers could catch up).
