I have been unable to pinpoint the reason why sleep mode is unavailable for my windows vista home premium x86. In the command line, I typed "powercfg -a" and both S1, S2, and S3 were listed as unavailable. I know my motherboard, an ASUS P5G41-M LX2 supports the feature, but I can't get it to work. Windows is updated, and the power options for allowing sleep when sharing media is enabled. I Don't know what to do.
other things to consider: I recently put in this motherboard as a replacement for the previous one which fried. As such, I had to purchase a new power supply as well. Is it possible the power supply doesn't support sleep mode?
Thanks for the help,
Will
