Need to install vista without a disk

Window won't boot. Was running Gateway recovery and lost power. Now it want even get to windows. It just says restart computer and reinstall window. I have no disk because it was preinstalled. Please help.

Unfortunately the only help I could find from Gateway was in this document (http://support.gateway.com/s/Manuals/Desktops/8513015.pdf) on the second last page.

It says to hold down alt+f10 during startup and follow the onscreen instructions.

Hopefully this will solve your problem, just be aware you will lose all data and programs after doing this so try and transfer it to another PC by some means (Linux Live CD and USB flash drives).

If it doesn't it recommends that you contact Gateway support.

If Alt-F10 doesn't work, are you sure you didn't create recovery disks, as per your manual, when you first got it? Hunt around in your CD's, etc.; sometimes we forget.

At any rate, whren you get back to normal, make sure that you do create recovery disks.
