batmeter.dll.mui damaged file...help!!

Hi im new to these forums but cant get much info anywhere else. Basically i ran an sfc/scannow and found damaged files, according to the cbs logs its a batmeter.dll.mui file (think its my battery meter) how can i repair it as sfc couldnt.Thanks.
Laptop is a dell inspiron 1720 im running vista 32 home premium.

Hello Kruger, and welcome to Vista Forums.

You can use a clean copy of the batmeter.dll.mui file from my system in the ZIP download below to replace your copy with.

You will need to take ownership and allow your user account full permission of your C:\Windows\System32\batmeter.dll.mui file first (Option Two in Method Two in the tutorial below for how), then copy and paste the new downloaded copy at that location to replace it.
