Problem?

When i play "Left 4 Dead" or "Alliance of Valiant Arms" my computer just shuts down after 10 minutes. I have made several attempts to fix this. A few days ago, it said that my NVIDIA thing is corrupted or something. Since both "Left 4 Dead" and "Alliance of Valiant Arms" both use this NVIDIA thing,i tried deleting it and redownloading it, which my computer already did for me. However, when i open my computer, it always ask me if i wanted to finish installing NVIDIA. I always click yes, but it still does it. My computer also says that the NVIDIA download is done. I can still play those games, but they still shut down my computer after 10 minutes. Help? :(

Open up device manger and update your video card.
If you still have trouble it could bea bad card.
How old is the computer?

I think my computer is between about 2 years, not really sure. This might seem like a stupid question but where is the device manager?

EDIT: Never mind, found the device manager, will edit again if it works.

EDIT2: It didn't work, any other solutions? :(

Could also mean that your processor is overheating.
Could also be a power supply issue.
Other then those 2 things I am not able to help further.
I am still learning computers.

how did you uninstall it, did you get it all. If you roll back the driver does that help.

Weakest part of my computer is the graphics chipset.
    Only ever used a laptop.
Also use USB Freeview TV Card

Before i could play "Alliance of Valiant Arms" and there were no problems. Later on, my computer started making a lot of noise. After around 10 minutes of the noise,my computer shuts down. I uninstalled it by going to control panel, finding NVIDIA, and right clicking it then click uninstall. It asked me to restart my computer to finish the uninstalling process. Now every time i open my computer, it asked me to finish installing NVIDIA. I already went to device manager and updated everything that had NVIDIA in it, in case i choose the wrong NVIDIA.

Go to the NVIDIA website.
Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers
See if you can find your drivers.
Download and save them to your desktop.
Then open divice manger click update.
Be sure you click search computer. Point it towards the
driver you saved to the desktop. It will intall.
Hope that helps.

Ok, I'm downloading the driver to see if it works or not. If it doesn't work, I'm just going to do a system recovery to see if it works.

EDIT: It didn't work, it says it is already up to date. I'm going to do a system recovery. Thanks for trying to help though. :)

My Computer

If you read this before you do that.
Try system restore a point before you removed it.
Then try to download it like i asked you to.
Maybe that will work.
If you do system recovery save your stuff pix, files, etc.
All that will be lost.
Sorry I could not help further.

Good-luck

Yeah, I think it is overheating or your video driver is getting corrupted as it shouldn't keep asking you if you want to install it.
