Serious Help Needed

I am trying to log into Windows Vista x64 and... The computer - NOT I - forgot my password. (ie: the password I normally use is not working.) I am running Windows 7 Ultimate (a special waadaad Promo version I received at the #PopTech! Conference last October) via VMWare on my Mac. I only use this for Quicken, and it's been a couple of months since I've opened it.

I need to get in there ASAP, as I have a meeting with my accountant and need to make major updates by Monday.

I have not created a password reset disk, and I definitely do NOT want to lose the Quicken data I already have entered.

Someone please help me get in!

Thanks so much,

Thanks ilikefree - Yes, that's why I just spent the past 20 minutes signing up for this forum, because it is Windows Vista x64 (Windows 7 Ultimate) that is asking for my password... The fact that I am running this on a virtual machine using VMWare on my Mac is not really the issue. It is Windows that is barring me from accessing The PC version of Quicken, because I can't log in... I am signing off for the evening, but am not sure where to get support for this. It worked fine back in March... So why would it suddenly forget my password and/or how can I get around this???

Many thanks,

Thanks. Well I gave this a try, downloaded the software (ReadMe.txt and exe file). But the logistics don't seem to work. Under 'normal' circumstances, I can toggle between my Mac OS and Windows/Vista running in VMWare... However, Since I cannot get into the Windows (Vista) window, I downloaded it from Firefox to my Mac desktop. With VMWare open, and my Windows/Vista screen showing just a box for me to enter my Password, I was hoping I could create a CD that would be usable. I inserted a blank CD, but the bootdisk (exe) file wasn't readable from the CD. I really don't know how to get around this. Must sign off now for the evening, early meeting tomorrow, then I will get back to this. Any advice would be much appreciated!

Thank you,

Run the .exe program. It will make an .ISO file that you will need to burn to a disc with something like Image Burn you may have to change the boot order in the bios to boot from the disc first or you can tell it to run on startup
