NEW (2010) Pentium 4 case with ASUS LGA 1366 P6T SE motherboards!

Hello!!

I have a small problem!
I recently bought a case for my new custom built PC but there's one thing I didn't pay attention to...
The case is generally for pentium 4 systems...
but it has all the jacks (ex: power switch, reset switch, HDD led, power led+, power led -) but they're all separated.

and I want to put a ASUS LGA 1366 P6T SE motherboard (the latest one with an i7 processor.)

and here are both of my questions.
1: How do I arrange the jacks so that I can see my HDD activity, so that my power led can turn on every time I turn on my computer and all... :D

2: Can that ASUS 1366 support DDR2 RAM? I have no money in my pocket to buy DDR3 just yet.

it would be awesome if someone could make a small "drawing" (with MS paint or something) on how the cables should be connected to the motherboard itself so that it all works out.

PS: This is my first custom build... Please be respectful (I always used to buy them pre-build and just modify every time I needed something upgraded)

PS2:If it's possible to have the "drawing" sent on my e-mail I would be very much obliged!

PS3: The box cannot be returned so please don't leave me any replies like "Return the box and get a new one"

Thanks to everyone in advance who will help me on this one!! :geek:

Specifications on your mobo: Newegg.com - ASUS P6T LGA 1366 Intel X58 ATX Intel Motherboard

As long as the case and the motherboards are both complying with the ATX standard then they will probably fit.

Learn how to install a motherboard first, go to youtube and look up a video or something.

I dont have the same motherboard so i cannot possibly make a drawing, but on the newegg page that i showed you, there is a picture of the motherboard.

Good luck and post your results

@Katokaro thank you for the visual.
this might take me a few mode days because I'm still not done with receiving all the parts
I'm waiting on the HDD's and the CPU to arrive and I'm guessing they'll be here at most on monday evening that's when I'll post an update.

now all that's left is the RAM issue. :(

as I said in my previous post, I cannot afford to buy DDR3 Ram because of my budget
Is it possible for someone to tell me wether this specific motherboard takes DDR2 ram or it's strictly for DDR3 ram

I tried googling and found nothing...
