Can not uninstall Avira AntiVir Personal

I ran the uninstall for Avira AntiVir Personal but all the folders are still in C:\programs. When I check Add/Remove programs again, I can't find it.

(all of the folders for Avira still appear to be intact on my C drive after multiple attempts to unistall.)

    Upgraded the power supply to 600Watt, in order to get the Nvidia 8800 graphics card to run. And added 1GB of memory even through 32 bit Vista will not use it all.
Thanks, but that ^ tool removes viruses; i.e. "major distinct threats".

I was able to cleanly uninstall the software by doing another install over the top of the problematic one, then via CCleaner, I was finally able to remove it. Yay!
