Please help

I have a problem when installing vista. So any help will be greatly appreciated and pls be patient as I don't know many of the computer languages either.
I normally keep my computer on 24/7 but last week I shutdown my computer for a rest and that's when problem started. When I re-started my computer, it keeps asking to re-boot from CD. When I did start installing Vista from the CD, it would stop in the middle of the installation and give me error code: 0x80070002.
Any suggestions?

It sounds as though you have a media error. If you have another [DVD] disc drive available insert the install DVD in it and reboot.

Try installing again.

On another note, are you sure that you need to completely reinstall Vista??? Can you not repair it??

I did try both. I used external DVD drive try to install, same problem. Before I begin the installation, it has the option to repair and I also tried that and it was unable to repair.
