Solved Display settings for dual screen on laptop HP 6730B

Hi..

I have an hp laptop model 6730B running windows XP pro.. I have two monitors attached to it through the dockign station
It works perfect.. I can set it to use both monitors or extend to the other monitor.. all perfect
But everytime the computer is switched off and on again.. it loses this setting and the display appears to clone similar on both screens.. so have to go on display settings and reset the display to "extend my desktop"

Any sugguestions???

Ok.. got the fix for that one:
The user was actually opening the laptop to switch it on instead of switching it on from the docking station's power button and then closing it which was defaulting to the setting of using the laptop screen as main monitor.

I was remotely supporting this client which is sometimes not easy.. lol
