Issue Administrative credentials to Registry key

I am trying to register a .dll created using VB.NET. It is using a utility regasm.exe to do so. But what I get is an error that says "You must have administrative credentials to perform this task. Contact your administrator for assistance."

I work on my own computer and I have got only one user account which is the administrator.

Could anyone help me to sort this out, please?
