Hello,
Few months ago i added 2 more gb of ram, making it 4 in total. When i had 2 gb , my idle time memory usage was 29% , now that I have 4 ram (3.25 bcos of 32bit) it uses the same 29% , or more!

Is there any way i can make vista use a lot less memory? This is really annoying me when i play games.. Why are there svchost.exe processes which use so much?

Are you sure that the ram was compatible? Sounds like you may be using the same two sticks.

It sure is, checked it in bios and it shows 4 gb. If i go to computer properties it shows 3.25 because i have 32-bit vista.

May I suggest, download and try this, if all works ok, the only option is to tweak, which I do not do myself. I feel it is not worth it.

Okay, its all good. Well what can you do, vista is a memory "eater" . Ill get win 7 on my next pc. Thanks for the support.
