Moving an SSD with OS from one Computer to Another

I have a 64 bit PC with Vista Home Premium 64 installed on both an HDD and an SSD and can boot from either one. I'm getting a 64 bit laptop and want to put the SSD into that. Will I still be able to boot from SSD as is or will I need to reinstall the OS because it is in another computer?

Thanks.

Thanks Bare Foot Kid,

I thought I could swap the SSD back & forth between the two computers. The laptop will be coming in a week or so with an HDD, there's room in the bay for two. I suppose I'll just get another SSD for it.

Howdy.

You would continually have activation issues doing that, you could give it a go though.
