Solved Vista in "basic" theme again

I re-installed a game I downloaded, and when I tried to play it, my Vista went into the basic theme, exited out of the game, and is now stuck in basic theme again. It was the same game as before, and I've concluded that it's the cause of it. Thus, I tried doing the same thing to fix everything, by going into device manager, uninstalling the game, and updating the display driver, but it's already up to date. I don't know what else I can do. What do I need to do? Thanks in advanced.

I think the game has a higher score on the windows index than your computer and you may not be able to play it.What ram and graphics card do you have.
When your computer needs all the flash turned off because of a performance issue it will go to the basic, but it normally reverts back again. You may need a restart to fix it.

re: Vista in "basic" theme again

My graphics card is NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GS. I'm not sure what my ram is, though.

The game was Return of Warrior, if that helps.

Does your computer fall into this requirement group?

I think so. The CPU seems different that what I have, though. Same with the graphics card.

I tried that, but I didn't see any box. I clicked on Effects, and I saw that "cleartype" was on, or something.

re: Vista in "basic" theme again

Oh! Nevermind, I fixed it. I had to go into screen resolution, and change 16-bit to 32-bit.

Thanks for your help, though. Also, sorry for this double post.
