pictures lost in temporary profile

Hi,

Without realizing it I was logged into a temporary profile, I downloaded pictures there from a digital camera.

Can someone explain how to recover the pictures?

The problem is that I am no longer logged in to the temp account but I downloaded pictures there that I would like to recover.

Are these pictures stored somewhere on my computer or are they permently deleted?

They may be gone for good since nothing done in a temporary profile is saved, and is lost as soon as you log out. :(

It really depends on where you saved them at. If in the temporary profile user folders, then most likely gone. If saved to another location, somewhere other than a user folder, then they may still be there.

I have the same problem. One day I had a temporary profile that loaded, and freaked and moved my pictures, music, and research paper to the new desk top, I had no idea I wouldn't be able to get them back. When I restarted the laptop that night everything was gone, I search for them, but recieve a msg telling me the items were moved from the short cut and for me to delete the short cut. Can anyone help? All items had already been on my desktop from way before the temp profile ever loaded.
