System error memory dump files.

When I do disc clean up it takes an age to get past system error memory dump files. I am given no option to clean them up at the end. How can I speed this up and get rid of them? I am on Vista Home premium.

I have seen this question before but nobody seems able to answer it!:mad:

I have 7 and it has the check mark that I told you about. I did research and it seems on Vista if the files are large it may take several passes to work.

.. the funny thing on this problem is, that the UI hangs on 'analyzing' these files, even when there aren't any on the system. Noone knows what Windows is doing there.
If there are some, the 'final' UI will show them up and offer to delete them too.

using cleanmgr as CMD tool just lets you avoid this silly waiting time.
