Hi there.

I want to connect my 3.5 Hard disk to my laptop, i was able to do that before using the ide converter something like that but 2 weeks ago i did some changes to my laptop to increase its boot speed, i dont exactly remember that i did but since then whenever i try connect any of my 3 HDs to the laptop, they do turn on and i can see the safely remove icon but i cant see the drives in Computer, and after awhile its says that i need to format the drives first????? it happens on all my 3 HDs.

Eagerly waiting for replies.

hi..
On run type "mmc"
then "file" > "Add in snap" > add > add disk management
and then check if you can see the hard drive on there.. if it had wrongly been formatted you need to format it again "nfts" format..

cheers
