Defrag freezes at igfxcfg.exe

Hi guys ... I'm working on a computer that freezes when running defrag and SAS at
C:\SWSetup\drivers\video\graphics\igfxcfg.exe.

If I could even find this .... could I uninstall/delete and start over again.

It's a Compaq Presario C700 Notebook PC F.33(bought in 2008)
2 GB Ram DMM
HP 30D9 83.21
WCD WD1600BEVS - 60VATO HD 160 GB
W - DXW7H80 132791
Mobil Intel (R) 965 Express Chipset Family

Tell me what more info I can give, if needed. I've been trying to find what's going on here for two days :sa:

The file is apart of video drivers.
You could try to defrag in safe mode and SAS as well.
If you do decide to remove the drivers just go to device manger
remove it.During reboot windows will reinstall it.

I've done all of that still freezes in safe mode.

Maybe you could try malewarebytes.

Download the free one and give it a try.
It is ok to use. It is recommanded by alot of
people here on this forum.

Well I couldn't find the problem to fix it, so put it back to 'factory' condition. Everything works fine now.
Thanks for the suggestions.

I would have thought it would be in C:Windows system32 drivers or driver store.
