50" panasonic (pc display)


Hi,

i have a 50" panasonic plasma connected to my gateway computer(vista)

with a vga cable. My computer has one vga connector so i take out the

computer's cable and put in the tv's. Everything used to work fine

until the cable broke and i messed with the settings of the tv and

computer thinking that was the problem. So now when i go to pc

adjustments on my tv, the tv detects the pc resolution of 1024x768 and

flashes my computer's screen on the tv for a second but

then the tv screen goes black and the same thing repeats. I have

been trying my best but to no avail. When i tried connecting today, the

tv did not detect the pc's resolution of 1024x768 but the resoluton of

640x480 which isn't suited for my computer. It detects the

resolution and shows the computer's screen fuzzily and then becomes

black. I sought help from a geek squad echnician who couldn't find the

solution so i would really appreciate it if i could get some help.

No I don't, it has been about 5 months since I messed with my settings.
