Folder Views got deleted (some of them) HELP!

Hi. Well, I just want to say that for the Folder View, I first followed this example into fixing the problem.
Today, I noticed folders views getting deleted. It just happened randomly in some folders. The first thing I did was to change the number in the Value to 100000. I'm hoping that works.

I just want to say that.. is there any way to stop this? It's really annoying because I have many files I like to keep it in an order for easier access.
The weird thing is that I had not be getting this error for a long time.

It may probably had been because I created new folders? (I like to keep organized).
Please, can anyone help or give advice or something like that????
Thanks.

EDIT: another thing. for some weird reason, when I press on my USER via the Windows logo button in the left, It will go minimize, even if I put it as Maximize later
EDIT2: seems to be maximize now.
EDIT3: I am begging to think that it may be because of old thumbnails being very old (I don't really delete them). The error may also be because of the folder view being a year old or something (even though some of the folders deleted aren't that old).

Option Two in this tutorial goes beyond what is shown in your link.

oh. I see. It looks a little confusing since it has a lot of steps.
My question is.. do I have to do everything that is says in Option 2 from the 1st step?? Will it delete all of my Folver Views again?? Can the value in the "BagMRU Size" in the Shell place increase more than 20000 (this number says in there)??

A simple way to have a folder always open maximized.
Open the folder, expand by clicking the double box, hold the shift key down and close the folder with the x
It will always open maximized after that.

OK, I know I am bringing back this old forum topic here, but I still want some questions answered it! >_<

I'm not really getting this problem as of now but did get a small problem on a folder that had 2 png files, 1 sfk file, an folder and many mp3s. It just randomly changed to a List view instead of the "Large icon" mode that I always like having it.

I know i can do the this that they had told me about if you see this topic: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/70819-windows-explorer-folder-view-settings.html?filter

For me the most important thing was disabling the automatic folder type discovery
by changing the FolderType to NotSpecified.

Once that is done, I suspect that even the default 5000 will be more than enough.

I've never seen a number higher than 20000 mentioned in this type of tutorial.

My guess is that you could use a higher number, but I haven't tried it.
