Hello everyone!!! Well I've been having a lot of problems with my laptop lately, here is some info:
- Hp Pavillion dv6000 (this is what it shows on the upper rigth corner of the screen, but the label on the back, where the p/n is, says dv67000) dv6823us
- Windows Vista
-32bit
- 23 months old
Here are the issues:
-The sound icon is gone, when i play videos or music, I can here something for a few minutes the it goes mute, then it comes back but I have to wait for a couple minutes.
-My built in cam is not working, it says the device is not on...there is no image drivers in the device manager, just an "unknown device" under the usb ports
-Cd/dvd not working, not show in the device manager either....
- I have to have it on, the whole time because if I restart it it wont come on, the screen will be black, it will show all the powers lights but the screen will remain black....did some research and seems like a lot of people is having the same issues....(it does come on if I unplugged it and wait like for a day, so I dont know if will be a motherboard issue).
It does not show me any kind of error or messages
Last night I guess it did run some updates by itself and restarted, when I woke up the screen was black again but all the power lights were on....jus to check i pressed the shift key several times and I could here the StickyKeys message but like I said the screen is totally black I cant even see the cursor.... Do you guys think if I restart the whole system, this will be fixed??
I'd appreciate it if you guys help me out with some advice
