Windows Vista problem.

Hello VistaForums, I just joined because I have a bit of a urgent problem, I didn't really know where to put it so if this is the wrong location, please move it for me.

I'll try to explain my problem as best as I can;
My mother has a Vista 64x (If I am right, could be the thirty one) which she shares with my younger sister,
The problem which has appeared quite a few times now is that whenever you active the screen a small message pops up; No Signal

I checked the wires, tried another screen, and everything else I could think off,

Until today unplugging the wires, plugging them in and rebooting would solve the problem for a while, but since today it completely stopped 'working' the PC launches, but it refuses to connect to the mouse, the keyboard and the screen.

Now I'm not a software/hardware expert so I'd like a bit of guidance if that's possible, if I forgot to note anything on interest please let me know and I'll see if I can find out what the problem is.

Thanks in advance.

Kind regards,
Jazzbard.

Are you able to start your PC.What i mean is do you see the blinking light of the HDD.

If yes-Try out this.

1.If you are using a PCI display adapter,disconnect you monitor cable from it and connect it to the internal display adapter that lies below where you connect your mouse and keyboard.You might have to disable the PCI display card when you are connecting to the integrated display adapter.

2.Take out your RAM,wipe it and put it back.Try it.
