usb harddrive encloser

I've got a Rosewill Enclosure with a Western Digital "Green" SATA 2TB harddrive in it. When I plug it into my WinXP or Win7 boxes it works fine. However when I plug it into my Vista box, it will be assigned a drive letter but I'm told it is corrupted when I try to access it.

Vista is fully updated. I couldn't find any new drivers on WD's site.

What do I need to do to make it work?

Thanks in advance.

Try uninstalling and reinstalling the driver in device manager if you haven't tried yet.

You could also try checking the disk for errors.
I find that doing this via the Command prompt is quicker.

To Check a disk for errors via a command prompt:
Open an elevated command prompt.

Type in "chkdsk x:" (where x is the letter of your drive)
If errors are found, you could use the "chkdsk /f" command.

Hope this helps and I'm not providing you with useless info.
