    vista logon screen help

I have an account showing on the logon screen in vista that is titled "Please logon and initialize your settings". When I click on it a switch users box appears and that puts me right back to the logon screen. When I go to the accounts page to delete it there is nothing there. I want to remove it from my log on screen so I only have my administrator account showing. Does anyone know what this extra account may be? What do I need to do to hide or delete it?

Hello, and welcome to the Vista Forums!

I don't really know, but the only place I have seen anything like it is the Fingerprint Reader Logon on Laptops. Is this possible?

    Re: vista logon screen help

I am currently using the Dell M1530 (it is not mine, it is my father's, for complicated reasons) and I could never get my fingerprints to look the same when setting it up, let alone logging in. Are you sure you are happy with this, as I can see if we could just disable the login section. Sorry about being slow, 1.2kb/s GPRS signal while on holiday in the wilds of Scotland doesn't help with speedy responses with many people to help, and some Malware Removal instructors eagerly awaiting my corrections!
