o cancel Vista account

Hi All,
My laptop was stolen by somebody a week ago. I would like to ask is there any option to track my laptop?
If I cannot track my laptop, will there any option to cancel my Vista account from windows.

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss, unless you installed some security software yourself I don't think there is anything that can actually track it for you.

What Vista account are you talking about when you say cancel from Windows ?

Is your laptop password protected, if it is the thief would have to know it to be able to enter Windows, if you meant your account on this forum the same thing goes your login name and password would be needed to gain entry.

I assume you have it reported to the police, hope you manage to find it but I don't think it's very likely, sorry.

No I think they are asking; if their computer goes online, perhaps to check for automatic updates or whatever can/could they shutdown vista the OS off/down. Kinda like onstar for computers. That's what I'm getting from their inquiry.
