Hey guys, I'm not around this forum much, but I've developed a problem with one of my two HD's. One of my two 500 gig HD's is not showing up in the list under Computer. It is not the boot drive. It doesn't show up on the list of disk drives in the device manager either.
Does anybody have ANY idea as what's going on? Any testing I can do to find out if the drive has crashed? I'm at wits end. with this.
Reboot your system and see if it appears in the BIOS (see your user manual for details on how to access this - typically F2 or Delete). We need to get it appearing here before it can be seen elsewhere.

I have two drives (ST3500320AS & WDC WD500AAKS-00GA) listed, along with the DVD writer (HL-DT-ST BDD VDRW GGC) in the BIOS. Only one (ST3500320AS) shows up When I bring up "Computer" from the start menu. The DVD also shows up in "Computer".
Also in the Computer Management, when I expand the "disk drives" only the ST3500320AS shows up there along with my Canon printer USB drive.
