Can't open saved jpeg files from USB

I transferred the photos from my camera. I can open the photo on my laptop but when I copied those on USB stick or SD card & try to open from there in photo gallery, I can't open them. Could you please suggest how can I view photos saved on USB or SD card,

You probably can open them with photo gallery. Try this:

1. Open "Photo Gallery"
2. Click "File"
3. Click "Import from camera or scanner"

Clicking that usually always also recognizes both the USB stick and/or SD card as another drive (sometimes "F", "G" or "I)

Then click the appropriate drive just recognized and you'll have your pics.
