How do I retrieve my pics from my external hard drive? When I try to get them out I get pop-up saying that I don't have a compatible application and I may need a Photo Gallery update. I have not been able to find one. Has anyone else had this problem and how did you solve it? Thanks for the advice!

Hi Chase, Thanks for your response. I click COMPUTER then EXPANSION DRIVE then BACKUP FILE for the most recent back-up date it takes me to WINZIP and I chose ntuser.dat I get this message in Photo Gallery "PG cant open this picture. This file format is not supported, or you don't have the latest updates to PG."
New issue: I opened the pictures on the external HD from Photo Gallery in file open AND now I have duplicates taking up most of my computer's storage. EEKS. Do you know of an program that will identify and delete duplicate photos?
