Windows cannot load profile

Ok, i factory restored my pc to tidy it up, and now i cant run any profile properly.

I have one file for admin, and one as spare.
Ive tried reinstalling the windows, factory restore, I've gone through regedit and changed the files to 0 and deleting the .bak at the end. And i've now tried making a new user and transfering the old files across, but with this new user the files in regedit stay at 0 and no .bak occurs, yet i still cannot load a profile??

Any ideas would help loads. thanks.

Go into safe mode and see if profile loads.

If it does it means that there is a conflict that prevents it from loading. If it does not load it means your probably need a repair install.

Question Windows came preinstalled, do you actually have a Vista DVD or a startup repair. If you have an actual install DVD, just reinstall.
Boot from the DVD and install windows like new.

You will love this one
Hope you do not have a desktop.
Look all over the computer, top bottom, left right, you will find the key.

Let me hold your hard, dont jump into anything. Tell me what you find when you look for the key.

In case I am no on when you return:
Read the install information carefully, any questions ask
Make sure you have the key from the computer.
There has been some disagreement on the correct key. I think it is the one that is one the computer, others say it is the key used by the company to install the OS.
To get that key use this, the key is on the software.
Magical Jelly Bean Keyfinder v2.0.8 Review - Product Key Finder Software Review - Find Product Key
Once you get that second key you are all set.
Install the OS. When they ask for the key number do not give it and untick the box that says to automatically activate when online.
Then be sure that you are happy with the system, try it, test it etc, you have 30 days. When set activate by phone.
Activate Windows 7 by Phone - Windows 7 Forums (good for 7 or Vista)
Dont rush, I want to help. Take your time and you will have a computer that works like new.

All I ask is that you keep me posted as to what you are doing. And report the final results so that othrers may be helped.
