The font size resets itself when i restart my pc Why

Hi everyone
Here is my problem i go to my desktop and right click ,click on personalize,windows colour and appearance ,then appearance window pops up,i click on advance and then re size the fonts then at the end of the list i click apply,then ok .
All is good until i shutdown my PC the reboot again ,then i am back to square one .Has anyone else experience this problem .

Please remove this thread i found out that the font had not been changed in some areas .thanks Rob.
