Hi folks,
when i try to do a system restore, and after it going through the motions and restarting, I get a popup box stating, an unspecified error occurred during system restore try a different restore point, I have tried three different restore points with the same results, Any suggestions would be appreciated,thanks. Have you tried running it in Safe mode?

Thanks for your suggestion wizzkid, did it in safe mode and it worked, But i was curius as to why i cannot get it working in regular mode, So i looked into brinks tutorials on system restore,and as soon as i went into it i got a popup box stating the task image is corrupt or has been tampered with (see attachment) anybody got any suggestions , I did run a sfc/scannow which came up clean,thanks. Thanks for you time Shadowjk, for a minute i thought i was going nuts i just could't find it, So i went to my wifes PC, and sure enough its there, she has the same os, as me vista 32-bit premium, mine is missing, I tried going to cmd and type in what you recomended,but its still missing, any suggestions, thanks. patch41
