Folder Password Protection????

Hi, I was wondering if there is any way to make a password required to open a folder. I want to protect certain documents on my computer. I would prefer to not have have to encrypt the whole contents of the folder and decrypt the whole contents whenever I want to access the files. Is there any way to do this?
