.HTM doc covering desktop

Just today, whenever I load Vista Business, after all of the start programs have filled the system tray, a .HTM doc fills the screen. It looks like the lower right corner of IE. (It has the 100% in the corner for zooming and next do it is Protected Mode: Off). There is no address bar or anything, it just looks like the bottom right corner of IE (if it were really really big). However, if I hit the Windows logo button-D, the desktop appears, but if you hit it again, the .HTM doc reappears. If I right-click on it, I get the same menu as if I were using IE. I have no idea how to get rid of this because task manager does not show it running as an application. Has anyone ever seen this before?

I don't have a clue of why this happens to your computer. I don't even have Vista Business.
However, usually the first line of attack would be doing a System Restore. Pick the date ( yesterday ) as your restore point.
In case you are not cerain how to do system restore :
Here is the tutorial from this forum :

P.S. scroll past the chitchats. Tutorial is at the end.

Hi,
Interesting
1. when happen if you try to open IE when that HTM.DOC is running.. does it work fine?
2. When you go on task manager, go under "processes" and check if you see an unusual application running which match this one.
3. You need to find the source of that file, either it will show up under
Task manager> processess
My computer > Right click > manage > services
start> Run > MSCONFIG> startup tabb or services tabb..
If the application is running, you have all these options there you can kill it.. Or if you think its something associated with your IE then reset you IE under IE > internet options> advance tabb > reset

Or if you think its a fake .HTM Doc file then run "MALWARE BYTES" scan its a free software, google it..
